The Wudang 13
With Dr. Xianhao Cheng

The Wudang 13 Form consists of 13 basic yet essential techniques that lie at the foundation of all styles of Tai Chi Chuan. History suggests that this was the “original” Tai Chi Form created over 700 years ago. It is easy to learn and therefore a great way for a beginner to step into the door of Tai Chi. Yet it also contains profound principles that will allow the experienced practitioner to dig into the depths of traditional Tai Chi Chuan concepts.
Dr Cheng is a 6th generation Yang Style Tai Chi Master with many years of training and scholarly study. Dr Cheng wrote a feature article for Tai Chi magazine (vol 28 #2, 2004) on the Wudang Form and the 13 Techniques.
